I had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Mutsi during their soft opening weekend, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The cafe, nestled in the charming town of Andes, New York, offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements its delectable menu. As a coffee enthusiast, I was thrilled to find that Cafe Mutsi serves some of the best coffee I have ever tasted. The rich, aromatic brews were the perfect way to start my visit. Alongside my coffee, I enjoyed a cardamom bun that was simply divine. The bun was soft, fragrant, and perfectly spiced, making for an ideal morning treat. Cafe Mutsi's menu boasts an impressive array of savory options that cater to all tastes. The bread, freshly baked and warm, was a delightful accompaniment to many of the dishes. The French fries, served with homemade ketchup, were crispy and flavorful, a perfect snack for any time of day. One of the standout items was the bitterballen, a Dutch delicacy that was crispy on the outside and filled with a savory, creamy meat mixture on the inside. It was an absolute treat! The sandwiches, made with fresh ingredients and served on their delicious bread, were also a highlight. Each bite was a perfect blend of flavors and textures. Cafe Mutsi offers a range of unique dishes that are sure to please any palate. The snacking bacon was a savory delight, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The salmon carpaccio was fresh and light, with delicate flavors that paired beautifully with the other dishes. The Moroccan couscous was a standout, bursting with vibrant spices and fresh vegetables. For a heartier option, the roasted chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a deliciously crispy skin. Every dish was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and passion for good food. No meal at Cafe Mutsi would be complete without trying their chocolate cake and desserts. The chocolate cake was rich, moist, and utterly indulgent. Each bite was a chocolate lover's dream. The selection of other desserts was equally impressive, with a variety of sweet treats that provided the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Cafe Mutsi in Andes, New York, is a culinary gem that promises an outstanding dining experience. From the amazing coffee and freshly baked goods to the variety of savory delights and decadent desserts, every aspect of my visit was superb. The warm, inviting atmosphere and the attentive staff only added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend visiting Cafe Mutsi and indulging in their delicious offerings. It is a place where you can truly savor the flavors and enjoy a memorable meal.

If this place were in Brooklyn it would be that perfect neighborhood cafe and restaurant that would be everyone’s favorite. That said it would also be impossible to get a table. It’s so great to have a gem like this in a charming town. The owners care about quality and also care about community and it shows.

Cute lil breakfast / coffee location. Went for the latte. Was delicious and served with a smile.

Oh my gosh…. Just Beautiful food! You can taste the love…. Delicious! … My fav pastry is the hand made pulla with a coffee!! And fav cocktail … The NY Negroni at the bar! Great menu! Lovely space! And the owners are just wonderful humans! Every time I come here I’m welcomed with a smile and warmth. We love coming here for breakfast, lunches and Friday night dinner & cocktail! Super great full for Cafe Mutsi! You guys rock! Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Andes or driving through!

Last summer we spend a weekend at Andes community. We were looking for a delicious cake for my birthday. Thankfully Google recommend Mutsy Cafe, we were able to place an order via email. They replied back with the options they had, we picked the olive oil orange cake! It was not only cute but very delicious. Highly recommend for its freshness and high quality. ***photos in our Airbnb - I’m sure their plates are lovely

The waiters were extremely kind. The food was great, and so was the dessert. 10/10 would come again.

Delightful Nordic inspired cafe. Delicious espresso drinks and pastries, including an amazing cardamom bun. Friendly welcoming staff to boot. Will definitely be coming back soon.
